Melco commercial embroidery machines are user-friendly and easy to learn while providing the durability and speed needed to meet your business goals. Plus, they can be put virtually anywhere: house (bedroom, office, basement), store, warehouse, church, and more.

Questions people ask before they buy
The things we get asked most by people starting out. If yours is not here, ask us directly — the form below reaches a real person.
Can't I just start on a home embroidery machine?
Plenty of people do, and it is a good way to find out whether you enjoy embroidery. It stops working the moment embroidery has to pay you. Single-needle rethreading, small hoops and manual tension are fine for one gift; they are what makes a fifty-piece order take a whole weekend and still come back with misaligned colours. Most of our customers arrive after that weekend.
How much does a commercial embroidery machine cost?
It depends on the model, the accessories you need for the work you are taking on, and whether you buy new or certified pre-owned. Rather than quote a headline number that will not match your situation, we will put a written quote together for you — including financing options, so you can see the monthly cost against the orders it lets you accept.
Do I need to know how to digitize?
No. Digitizing is a learned skill and we teach it — DesignShop is included, and training is part of every machine we sell. Many shops start by stitching customer-supplied files and learn to digitize as the work comes in.
How long before I can take paying orders?
Most new owners are stitching sellable work within days of training, and quoting confidently within a few weeks. The limit is usually your sampling and pricing, not the machine.
I only have room for one machine. Is that a problem?
No — that is the normal starting point. A single Melco head is a complete commercial machine on its own, and because they network together, adding a second head later does not mean replacing the first or learning new software.
What support do I get after the sale?
Training, phone and remote technical support in English, French and Spanish, parts and supplies from the same store, and our in-house Melco board-repair depot. We have five offices across Canada and Puerto Rico, and we have been doing this since 1989.
